Hello Friends!
My name is Dave and I have been volunteering with Art and Soul for the past couple months. I have really been working with the "soul" part of it playing music and organizing a band of talented musicians who come to the free lunch and art and soul programs at Central United Methodist Church on Mondays and Thursdays.
I have noticed that many of those who participate in these wonderful programs have mentioned that they would love to learn how to play (guitar, drums, piano, etc), or that they know how to play but do not have an instrument. My goal is to get instruments donated to meet the wishes of the homeless musicians. To enable them to feel the spiritual beauty of playing and learning music, to write their own music, and to start recording music together in the future.
I am just setting up a web site for Art and Soul and on this site there will be a page for the Art and Soul music program. If you or anyone you know of would be willing to donate instruments or money to this cause please let me know!!!! The website will be up soon which will include individual pictures and wishes of those you are donating to. The gift of music is a beautiful and spiritual thing. Dave this is sandra it would be a good thing if someone donate us.some nusic instument like guitar,drums I will be the first one who would want to learn how to play the guitar, I will be praying for you that God will make that happen for us more nusic instument than you can handle.
